The transformation of the store over the past month has been quite an experience. Here are the photos from the 1st of June. My plan is to start doing videos pretty soon and that'll be interesting to see how that changes too over time.

Memorial Day Weekend Sale

The Store is starting to come together, I feel like there is still a lot of space to work with in the back. First few weeks have been great, it'll be interesting to see how business does this summer.

Slow rainy day, but still getting lots of new items also I got rid of the rusty sign holder and put in some hanging flowers.

New Items: Sheet Music Got about 100 of them from 1900 to 1960 The Etude magazine has been around since 1883 and its got some cool ads in in. Not terribly expensive I have these on consignment and will be listing them in bulk on Ebay. Ebay Id: Blueduckthriftshop

Bought these today, about 50 Disney pins, The Jiminey Cricket Trainer pin sells for a lot because the Disney Company gives employees a real hard time if they lose it and need to replace it. Also came with a employee pass for a president Obama speech at Disney and that will definitely will be on Ebay.

 Got a box of 45s haven't gone threw them yet, but look forward to it.

Got quite a bit of new stuff over the weekend, mostly small stuff a lot of computer parts. Here are a couple project items that I ran into.

Sanyo Mini Fridge - Donation

The Sanyo 4912 Mini Fridge 31x21x21 is the ideal refrigerator for making a kegerator - just an FYI here is video on how to do it.

Got this inlaid metal bicycle piece that weighs a ton, it was pretty scraped up when I got it, I paid two dollars hoping I could touch it up. Ended up scraping off all the gray background. Ended up looking pretty good. I'll definitely get more than what I paid for it.

After: I'd like to scrape off under the lead cyclist chin, might still do that even though it isn't the same material. WIP

 Also came across some african antelope skin drums,  an antique candle holder from the the hotel plaza - and a few old lufkin rulers - The older lufkin and stanley rulers sell for about 10 dollars a piece on Ebay but they are pretty hard to find. More pictures next week.

K - Tel Records - I got about 5 of them this weekend these are cool because these were compilations sold through TV commercials with about 10 different artists on each Vinyl - Everything from Beegees to Beatles 

46 sticks of 512 and 1gb ram for 15 dollars. I could of bought 3 of these cases but didn't know what I was getting into without looking it up so I just bought 1. I have these on Ebay, and have no idea what I'll get for it. 

Titled "Sailing" numbered 197 of 200 - Can't make out the signature so I put it up on the forums and hopefully someone will help me out. Link to gallery paid 4.99

Ted Kautzky print of rockport harbor, New England. Picked this up for 9.99 but I overpaid because the frame is in pretty rough shape. Overall A pretty good weekend.
